The girls got to go for their second boat ride today and they had a BLAST! All you could hear was them screaming for Andy to go faster even though he was already going as fast as he could. They got so upset when they didn't get to stay out as long as they wanted. It was starting to lightning in the distance and we didn't want to take a chance. Oh well, we will have plenty of time to play in the water! While we were there we replaced the boards on the trailer and that was a job since the brackets were bent. Here is a picture of Andy and the girls in the boat getting ready to go for a ride.

Seats!

I got the first seat covered today, and if I do say so myself it doesn't look too shabby. I only had enough time to get one done today because we were running around town getting the foam and a few other things we needed. I put the last bolt in at 10:58p.m. Exactly 2 minutes before I had to get Andy up for work. I didn't get a great picture, but I did get one to show you all. milsig

Here are a few updated photos of the boat. We still have a little carpet work and seat work, but hopefully by this weekend we will have them done. We took it out for the first time yesterday and Andy had a lil tuning to do but hopefully when he gets back from the lake tonight he will have good news and will have it all tuned. milsig

Father's Days

Happy Father's Day to all the Fathers in my life. My dad has always worked so hard to give us what we need and provide for us selflessly. My PaPa Beshirs, and PaPa Avance for always playing with us and for always being there for my mom and dad. Papaw for raising my mother in law. My Father-in-Law for raising a great son and for always treating me like I was part of the family even before Andy and I got married. Granddad for giving all of himself to our Country and for raising an amazing son, and for always treating me like family. We love and miss you so much!. And of course Andy for always making sure our kids and I have what we need, protecting our Country, and for sticking with me through the good and bad. I LOVE you all so very much.
Andy's apron that me and the girls made him. The girls and I think he rocks! Now he can use this when he grills!
Happy Father's Day!

Boating Fun!!!

We bought a boat on Friday, and Andy started taking it apart before I got the before pictures taken, but you can still see what it looks like. He has been working on it the past few days. We are redoing the carpet and the seats. We still have to get the foam for the seats, but that won't take long to get together. We are going to have so much fun with the girls this summer!milsig

Fishing

Wow I am so worn out. I am already ready for bed and it is only 5:45pm. We took the girls fishing this morning, and they caught 26lbs 4oz worth. Ashleigh caught the biggest weighing 3lbs. 12oz. She was so proud of it. She had to call everyone and tell the how huuge her fish was. She is such a goober. We went to WalMart as soon as we were done and got her an 8x10 of it. We are going to go fishing again tomorrow morning. We went to Hondo Creek Catfish Pond today and tomorrow we are going to try Camp Bullis. Hope you all have as great of a weekend as we are having. We haven't spent this much family time in a LONG time. :) milsig

Crafty mood

I was in a crafty mood and made a couple bow holders last night and a couple this morning. The ones I made last night are made with canvas covered with material, and the ones I made this morning are made from old frames. I think I like the ones made from old frames the best. I thought making some the other day and didn't get around to it, but was in a crafty mood last night and woke up in one this morning so needless to say I really need to figure out what I am going to do with all these bows, and bow holders. I need to call the flea market and see how much a booth is like I was going to do a few weeks ago. I need some imput from some kids to see what they like best. Mine are always saying they like them all but don't tell me which they like best.

Alexus and her class.

Alexus and Shelby had their field day on Friday. I went to their school at 7am with them and let Ashleigh and Alissa eat breakfast with them. After breakfast we went to Alexus' room and braided all the girls hair for their parade. They were Jamaica as you can tell from the pictures. Thank goodness a few of the moms braided their hair before they came to school because we were braiding hair from 720am til 925am and it was suposed to start at 930am. It was delayed 15 min due to water getting in the gym. Saturday Alexus had her AAA competition. She was so excited to go and compete. She loves to write and so she choose to do the creative writing. She WON! Yep she got a gold medal! She had to go in a classroom and write for 30minutes. She wrote 6pages, skiping lines of course. I am so proud of how she loves school. I wish Shelby liked it as much as she does. Her coach Mrs. Quick told her to make sure she tells her 3rd grade teacher next year that she won and wants to compete again. She told her to make sure she is assertive. Hope everyone has a great Sunday.

Oh! Btw, Andy has decided to go back to school and finish his Bachelors. I am so proud! He has worked so hard to get to where he has and for what we have. Our kids are amazed that you have to go to school after you graduate. Shelby thought he meant he was going to high school. We had to explain to her that we had already graduated from high school, and he was in college. Kids have such imaginations. milsig

Mother's Day trip

For Mother's Day we went home and let the girls go fishing with their Poppie. I don't know who had the better time, the girls or Larry. Ashleigh caught her first fish! Alissa helped reel them in after they were hung. Alexus and Shelby learned how to cast their rods, and had a great time. Ashleigh even start telling her fishing tales. She was trying to show me how big her fish was and storied just a lil bit (a whole lot). For Mother's Day we went out to eat with Poppie, Granny-T, and Geegee at TaMolly's. It was Yummy! I hope everyone had a great Mother's Day and didn't have to work too hard. The last picture of Ashleigh is of her showing how big her fish was. It sure was a big fish huh? milsig

Sea World and San Antonio Zoo

This week the girls had their school field trips. Shelby got to go to Sea World and Alexus went to the Zoo.. Both days were a lot of fun. Shelby got to see the Shamu show and the Sea Otter/Sea Lion show. I took alomost 100 pictures that day which I thought was a lot but I took pictures of what Shelby wanted me to so she has a lot of memories when she gets older. Ashleigh and Alissa loved Sea World and already want to go back. They were so good that day. They didn't give me any trouble. Shelby helped me push the stroller and helped the girls in and out when they wanted to see things. The Zoo was just as much fun. They even wanted to look at the snakes. Brave girls! I am so scared of them. I don't even go near them in the pet store! Alexus had a migraine the day before so I was afraid she wouldn't feel like going, but she woke up that morning feeling MUCH better. Thanks to her teacher letting her sleep in class cause she couldn't get a hold of us. She put her in the closet to where it was nice and quiet and dark. Thanks Ms. Huizar! Kimberley helped Alissa in and out of the stroller so she could see the animals. Ashleigh ran everywhere and got into everything. There wasn't as many people at the zoo as there was at Sea World so they could walk a lot more there. Ash was crossing the rope barriers and running all over. We had to call her a few times and make her some back to where we were. I took 150 pictues that day but there was SO many types of birds in the bird house!
Ms. Huizar and the class.

My Butterfly. Watch her FLY.
My hesitant butterfly.
My wee lil butterfly.
We just had to take some pictures by the beautiful flowers. Andy said this is her thug pose.
Ashleigh wants a copy of this for her room. Hint Hint Daddy!
I know she needs her bangs cut! But isn't she pretty. We need a copy of this for her room too.
Mrs. Fernandez with the class.
Hope you all have just as good of a week as me and the girls have had. Andy has had a rough week at work and is wore out. Bless his heart! Love and Miss you all !
