Girl Scouts Ceremony

Here are a few pictures of their ceremony. This is the end of the year ceremony. The bridge is for the girls that are going on to another troop because of their age. It symbolizes them crossing over to a new beginning. They also sang a sone called, Yes we can. It talks about how women can do anything they put their minds to.

Last Awards Ceremony

Today was Alexus's last awards ceremony for the year. She made the A-Honor roll all year. We are so proud of her. She has worked so hard to make it. She always does her homework the night she gets it even if it isn't due the next day. Andy and I always encourage her to do that so when she gets older she will automatically do it instead of waiting. Here are a few pictures I took of her today.

Busy

Well it is officially the last week of school for Alexus. We are going to be busy this week. We have her awards ceremony Thursday morning, her class graduation party Friday afternoon, and their girl scout end of the year ceremony Friday night. Alexus and I made gift bags for everyone in her class. The girls are getting bracelets, fruit chews, and Air heads. The boys are getting a car, fruit chews, and Air heads as well. It isn't much but hopefully they will like it. I have been taking snacks to the classroom all year so everytime they see me they say, Alexus's mom do you have a snack for us today hehe. Well, I will post pictures of everything when I get them.

Ashleigh

Ashleigh had her 18month well visit today, and it went well. Not much else happening today. Wow only one week left of school for Aleuxs's first year. Time sure has gone by fast. Doesn't seem right. Just think next year I will have 2 in school.

Shelby

I had to take Shelby to the ENT today to have her hearing checked. She has really bad fluid in her left ear that wasn't there a lil over a month ago, and her right ear is extremely red. They want her to take an antibiotic for 10 days, and a nasal spray for 6 weeks. After she has done that we will have to go back and have the hearing test redone and have the doctor recheck her ears. Hopefully when we go back they will be ok and we won't have to get tubes/adnoids surgery. He thinks that she is having problems with her adnoids because she sounds congested and isn't, snores really bad, tosses and turns, really restless at night. I had surgery on my ears when I was younger and so did my dad. So there may be something there that is hereditary (spelling). I wil keep you all posted on what we find out.

Zoo

Updates

A lil update. Alexus is going on her first field trip on Wednesday. They are going to the zoo. She is so excited. I got Shelby registered for school Tuesday and so she is asking when she gets to go to school now. Ashleigh and Alissa are doing good. Ash is getting to where you have to watch her. She loves her sister but will drag her by her clothes if you look away.

Our visit

Just wanted to say we had a nice visit even though Ashleigh got sick. We should be able to come home again during the summer. The girls want to see everyone more. They missed their daddy, but didn't want to leave Paris. Hopefully they will stay a week or two so they can see you all more. We love and miss you all even though we just left.

Alissa Rachelle

Just wanted to let you all know we finally picked out a name for the baby and it is Alissa Rachelle. They decided to set up my induction date for next Friday, the 22nd. We are all so excited to see and hold her. Hopefully it won't be too long and we can bring her to see everyone.
Yay! only a lil over a week and we get our little baby.

Baby

Just wanted to let everyone know that hopefully when I go in this Wednesday they will set up an induction date. They were supposed to this time when I went in, but when I told them I have been hurting really bad and have been seeing spots they said they wanted to watch me a little longer for preclamcia (spelling), and that maybe when I come in the next time they will be able to set it up. I am hoping that they do. Hopefully in about 3 weeks we will have our little girl here with us. Now for me and Andy to figure out what we want to name her. We normally have a name picked out by now, but it has been hard to find one that we like together. We love and miss everyone. Hopefully a little bit after I have the baby we can make a trip home to see you all, and you all can see the baby.

Happy Holidays

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all! We love and miss everyone. We can't wait to see my mom (Nanna) and dad (Papa) on Wednesday, and Larry (Poppie), Tina (Granny-T), Dusty, and Jordan a lil after Christmas. We hope you all have a wonder Christmas and for those that are traveling we hope you have safe travels to and from where you are going.

Christmas Lights

Andy put up lights for us this year, and he did a good job. He is so proud he got to put lights up on his own house. The girls love them. They have to tell everyone about them. We are all looking forward to our first Christmas in our home. Here are a few pictures of our lights.

6 years old

Happy Birthday Alexus. We love you and hope you had a great birthday. Alexus got a new bicycle for her birthday also because they had out grown their old ones. They love them. They want to ride them all the time.

Happy Birthday Shelby

Yesterday was Shelby's birthday and she got a new bicycle . Here are the pictures of her with her new bike.

Here are a few pictures I took of the girls the other day. As you can tell Ashleigh hasn't got much hair hehe. I told Andy the other day she was finally getting bed hair and he said more like bed peach fuzz. Alexus and Shelby are doing good. Alexus has started girl scouts, and Shelby will get to join when she turns 5 in two weeks. Alexus liked the first meeting on Friday. They are making their troop shirts this Friday.

First day of school

Alexus started school today, and I only took 2 pictures, but I will take more when I can walk better and can walk to her room. She was so excited. She came home playing school with Shelby, and telling us all about her 2 new best friends. It is so hard to believe that we have one old enough to be in school. Next year we will have two in school. Man, how time flies.

Andy

Andy called me today from work and told me he had fallen, but was ok. When he said he was ok I figured something was wrong. When he finally got home he said that he has 3 compressed disk, and has torn some tendons in his hand. He is ok, but is sore. He was lucky that he didn't hit his head when he fell instead of his back.

First tooth

Wow, I sure wasn't thinking this day would come for a while. Alexus has had a loose tooth since Andy went to California back in Fefruary. Andy finally got Alexus to let him pull it yesterday. She cried for a minute and then was like: Mom, I can stick my tongue through where my tooth was. I couldn't help but laugh. She was so happy when she woke up this morning and the tooth fairy had given her dollar bills. She ran downstairs after she woke Shelby up and told me MOMMY the tooth fairy gave me FOUR dollars!!!

All Moved

Well we are all moved, but now the fun part begins. I get to unpack everything. Yeah fun, huh? The girls are happy we moved now. They have been spending most of their time outside in the back yard. I am so HAPPY that we have a place for them to play and don't have to worry about them getting hit by a car. The pool was definately a good investment. Alexus and Shelby would live in it if we would let them. Ashleigh loves it also. I took a couple pictures of the girls with Andy playing in it with them today. I will attach them.
